“There is no prescribed plan or set program in what I do for clients. I’m listening to hear where they want to go, and my job is to figure out how to get there."

EIZABETH CAMBIER

Somatic Behavioral Coaching and Problem Solving

Welcome! I founded my business in 2010, combining my background in education with my passion for technology to help children and young adults develop essential skills; communication, community awareness, self-motivation, and independence. Over time, I realized that something was missing: the connection between the mind and the body, specifically the nervous system and neuroscience. This insight led to the creation of Somatic Behavioral Coaching, where I blend teaching, coaching, technology, body awareness, and neuroscience to foster growth and development at any age.

True growth occurs when the mind and body work in harmony. But what happens when they don’t? Ideally, you’d have someone to guide you with tools and strategies to bridge that gap. That’s where I come in. My mission is to help individuals understand and reconnect the mind and body, and this is the core of my life’s work.

My approach has always been immersive, I work with the entire family and support team, never confined to an office, but in real world environments, like home, where learning is most effective. My goal has always been to expand opportunities for neurodivergent individuals, evolving my practice to align with the latest research and, most importantly, the voices of neurodivergent youth and adults advocating for their needs.

With over 30 years of experience working with both neurodivergent and neurotypical children and adults, I’ve learned that every individual deserves to be seen for who they truly are, free from labels or expectations.

My expertise spans a wide range of areas, including:

• Teaching in early childhood classrooms
• Leading art programs that focus on the creative process, not just the product
• Supporting teachers and students in various classroom environments
• Consulting with parents to adapt their natural parenting styles to their child’s temperament
• Facilitating social activities to help clients build peer relationships
• Tutoring children to identify their unique learning styles
• Adapting curriculums while maintaining educational integrity

• Presenting workshops, such as The iPad: A Tool for Independence

On a personal note, I am dyslexic, a discovery I made in my final year of college. Growing up unaware of this has given me a deep understanding of my clients’ experiences. The human brain and body are remarkable in their ability to compensate in creative ways, some helpful and some not, but always trying. That resilience is something I deeply admire and support in my work.

This journey has shaped me, and I am truly grateful for the experiences that have brought me here. I’m glad you’re here with me, and I look forward to supporting you, your child and your teams growth and development.
